I have yet to meet a breed of chicken I didn't want to own. Of my flock, I enjoy most interacting with my barred rock - Addidas - she is curious and likes to sit near me when I am eating brie. She loves brie - I don't share it very often but she knows when I have some and comes a running!

Okay maybe not the silkees or the other showy kinds of birds but sitting in my bathroom right now are a phoenix, black bantam cochins, and something that kind of looks like a barred rock bantam cochin and I kind of like all of them very much and found myself purchasing them without a thought sort of unconciously....yeah that's it...... maybe the aliens took control of my brain and made me get them......... I am a chicken addict.....I accept the things I can't control....what is that serenity prayer thingy....... Is there one for the chicken addict? I am an enabler and an addict within a sea of them me thinks!
