What breed of chick is this?

Hi, I received hatchery chicks today, and received 3 extras that don’t look anything like the others. Anyone know what breed this may be?

What hatchery did they come from? That can help figure out which breeds are most likely.

My first, knee-jerk reaction was to say ‘Egyptian Fayoumi’ but I’m no expert, I’m literally just going down the Chick ID page on Meyer Hatchery’s website looking for chicks with brown heads. Silver Penciled Plymoth Rock has a brown head too…Barnvelder looks a little too brown in the body based on your pic…not seeing any others, but if you used a different hatchery they’d have different breeds.

Naked feet, will probably show some brown as adult. Partridge pattern?

Double (silver?) laced barnevelder looks like an exciting possibility

Hatchery is important info. Chicks of the same breed will rarely all look the same especially when you're looking at multiple sources.

Looks like Partridge Pendenscana (not sure how to spell that) but...

Well… it’s been a long stormy windy rainy day and with livestock, I’ve been so busy now I’m questioning myself which box they came in…

I have Hoover’s and Privetts, and a lot of chicks today.

I have:
White, Black and Blue Cochin Frizzles
Mille Fleur D’Uccles
Golden D’Uccles
Cream Legbars
Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben
Sapphire Olive Eggers
Golden Laced Polish

The chicks in question are very small. They definitely seem like Bantams.

After looking at Mille Fleur chicks, I would have said that’s it… but they are clean legged.. so I literally have no clue.

Did you order specific breeds of chicks, or did you order an assortment and then identify them?

If you ordered a bantam assortment, it would not be surprising to get Sebrights in it.

I think you beat me to it! I think they are Golden Sebright Bantams!

I did not order an assortment. These 3 chicks just appeared and didn’t match what I ordered. Must be my lucky day lol. Kinda fun to try and figure it out. I’ll post when they get bigger!
