Are the bantams leg color maybe different from the standard breeds? I dont know much about bantam standards other than they are little guys

The other one is a Silver Spangled Hamburg. I have two from McMurray and they looked just like that when they arrived.

Awesome, thanks! That was my latest guess too. How did they turn out? I have read a few negative reviews, but they do look gorgeous!

Just 6 weeks old now, but so far so good. They won't come and eat from my hand like the others will, but they are getting quite pretty to look at.

I hope mine is a hen, but I doubt it. I have a White Giant chick in there as well and I can make her come to me by tapping on the feeder really quickly ( like drumming).

Wish I could tame all of my chicks that way.

does it have a single comb?

with yellow legged hens the legs will turn paler and the paler they are the better of an egg layer they are. when the hen tampers off with laying the legs will get brighter again.
