What Breed(s) Might My Rojo Be?

Is that a rose comb?
Yes. Single combs are recessive.
He goes running to see what's up if there's a disturbance among the girls; I like that. And he's very respectful of humans, always moving away from us if we get too close. Wary, I would say. Not panicky, just wanting to ... socially distance, i guess. I like that, too.

Young, yes. I think they said 15 months when I got him about 2 months ago. Just has little spur nubs so far. But he leaves the cockerels alone. In fact they snuggle under him at night and he doesn't object.

Okay, so let's assume he is part Wyandotte. Suppose I were to collect some of my EE eggs from him (when they start laying again). Should I anticipate hatching difficulties because of the size of the rooster compared to the hens? Or will nature take care of that?
