Okay, thanks. You've at least given me some ideas.Truth is we could guess 100s of possible crosses, but without any parameters or other information there's really no way to know.

I wish I did but I have no info on him at all.Do you know any possible parents?
That's sad. But it's always fun to guess.I wish I did but I have no info on him at all.
Hmm, do I have yellow leg girls, lemme think. I have EEs and BL adult hens, so green legs and .... Wait! BL have yellow legs, right? I just have to wait till spring, they are all molting and then I have short days coming. I'm getting one brown egg every other day right now. Might try it. Need an incubator though, what do you recommend? That's sad. But it's always fun to guess.
You could cross him to a yellow legged lady so you could find out if he carries a yellow leg gene, if he were a first gen wyandotte cross he'd have to. Of course if none of the offspring have yellow legs, it doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't carry one, just that he didn't happen to pass them on. But if they do have yellow legs that would be another point for the wyandotte theory.
Yep!BL have yellow lrgs, right?
My recommendation is the same as most people's; the Nurture Right 360. It's not too pricey compared to a lot of incubators ($150), and it works great, is easy to use, pretty reliable, extremely easy to clean, and also is compatible with most types of eggs- you can 3d print your own turners for other kinds of eggs, or buy them off etsy.Need an incubator though, what do you recommend?
Sounds good. Thanks! (Don't have a 3D printer and regular eggs is all I'll be doing, I think.)Yep!

Thank you. I'm going with that!I'm guessing he's part Buff Orpington. Maybe some Wyandotte in him as well, as other(s) have stated.
