what breed was your quietest rooster??

I have a Ameraucana rooster that has never crowed. He is eight months old.

My cochins are 7m and have not crowed yet. Black Lanshan same age just started and I think he is going to be loud and long. Sumatras crow isn't to bad

In terms of volume, they are all 3 loud. But my SLW does not crow too often.

You should shy away from game bird roosters. Thy are very territorial and are frequent crowers. If a neighbor's roosters crows, they will answer back 10x to send a message who's the boss.

My quietest is the silver penciled wyandotte, the loudest and most constant is the silver laced wyandotte.

i have a 9 month old white rock rooster. you wouldnt know he was around his crow isnt very loud.
