What breed? what sex?

Hey guys, I will need to level out my flock. I know i have too many roosters. I am going to just post a few photos at a time, to keep it neat I will add all to this thread. I need best guesses, I will retake any photos as needed for specific birds. I understand this is far from perfect, but before I get too attached, I could use this info, if I need to rehome.


first up. i am thinking girl, but the flat comb is odd to me as a newby. she is my play police. I have a definite roo and she stops him from being a jerk ad anyone else who starts crap lol

The first chick is a Dominique and the second chick is a Rhode Island Red. Both of them look like pullets to me.
I would say that the third and fourth chicks are Easter Egger pullets.

You appear to have a Dominique, a hatchery Rhode Island Red, and an easter egger. The only one I think could be a cockerel is the Dominique. The feather color says pullet, but the comb is developing some redness. Otherwise I see pullets at this point. They are a little young.

First time chicken momma. Can someone tell me the breed and possibly the sex? We thought it was a girl but this morning I went out and it was crowing. Can hens crow like roosters? It's about 5 months old.

that looks like a red sex link cockerel
and yes, hens can crow like a rooster, but its rare, and pullets never do.
