Thanks for the help! They are a little skittish, will let them chill and put vasoline on in the morning. I'll probably treat and check for mites too. Apparently they got put in lil cages at 6am and i got them at about 1pm! Poor buggers. They seem happy though

To make it easier on you both when they go to perch up. Sneak in there and apply the Vaseline. Just a suggestion I have to chase my boys all around there pen so when I mess with them is when they perch up at night.

I decided id do it now because I started to feel sorry for them lol, they are in a lil pen so were resonably easy to catch.

Lavender Orps, if you don't plan to show - be happy and enjoy them. When I saw their legs, I starting hurting for them. Poor things.

What would cause there legs to go like that? They are quite dry, scaley and rough. They were a lil red underneth

Scaly leg mites. It's a tiny mite that burrows underneath the leg scales.

I don't see feathered legs, I see possible scaly leg mites. Lavender Orpingtons, but definitely not breeding quality.

Okay, yeah, now that you say that... Doesn't look like feathered legs, anymore.

I thought there legs were abit funny, ive no idea where they came from etc. They just settling in, had long car trip, their legs could be bit puffy from crouching in a cage too.

Not exactly sure about the full breed but I have to agree with @sylviethecochin that they definitely have lavender orpington in them.
