What breed?

not for me, just for a friend. She got them as chicks in spring. She doesn’t know the breed, and there are a few others like her:

She almost looks like a blue copper maran but for sure. Does she have five toes?

where did she get them at? I wonder if she could be a cross breed.

Not sure. She’s a friend from my chicken instagram. Just trying to hel her out.

Can you ask her where she got them from. I have never seen a beatiful chicken like that one.

It looks like a lavender Orpington mix. Or possibly a blue laced red Wyandotte. Or a mix of the lavandar and Wyandotte. Very nice looking bird.

I find the a really good mystery. I haven't heard of any breeds with five toes besides the dorikings but they aren't that color though.

Well also favoralls and silkies have five toes. It could have some favoralls mixed in.

She does not have five toes. You are seeing her holding one foot up and slightly behind the other. Look closely, there is a distinction.

She has a single comb and no lacing, so not a Wyandotte mix or BLR Wyandotte.

I'm thinking maybe Sapphire Gem.
