My local feed store, the woman working said they got all mixed up haha She definitely knew she received buff Orpingtons which I was looking for but I couldn’t take just one so I got this lil lady too lol

The chick is probably a pure breed (maybe Delaware?) or a specific mix that the hatchery sells (maybe an Easter Egger, or maybe one of the colored "broiler" types that is meant to be raised for meat, or maybe a layer-type hybrid of some sort.)

If the feed store had ordered all pullets, and then the different breeds of pullets got mixed together, then the chick probably is female. But if there were any cockerels or straight run among the chicks, then you will just have to watch as it grows to see whether the chick is actually male or female.
