What breed?

I was given these two little ones buy a rescue I work with. Anyone have an idea as to what breed, cause I haven't a clue. The pics are not the best. They usually let me pick them up, but tonight they did not want to be picked up. Thanks.

Hard to tell... black rosecomb? Black Minorcas? Not enough white for a white faced black spanish...

They appear to be Bannie or Banny chickens...not sure on the spelling.....I have some and they look very similar...Hope that helps....Gary

I saw bantam Rhode Island Reds in a lot of the hatchery catalogs . Could they be RIRs ?

They are not rhode islands for sure. Your chickens have white earlobes.
They look like a type of bantam breed but I can't tell what. Are they dark brown, or black?

They look like dutch bantams to me. I have a black one just like them.
