Just curious as to what others are choosing for breeds for their meat bird project pens. Im planning on getting a Dark Cornish roo over my Deleware, NHR and Wyandott hens. I also hope to get a couple maran hens to add in here too.
What breeds do you have in your meat bird project pens?

Very stocky Black Copper Marans males over Barred Rock, Black Copper, Cuckoo Marans, and Dark Cornish hens.
The Dark Cornish are still chicks (and look like possible cockerels!), so I'm not sure how that will work out yet.
