I recently bought a 6 moth old Ameraucana X Black copper Maran. I think she might not be what they say she is.. She is now 7 months old and not laying yet. I'm thinking possibly an Araucana cross. If she is one of these crosses would that make her an olive egger? Thanks for the help :)

Definitely not a Marans with that cushion comb. I'm thinking she's a mixed breed.

She just laid her first egg this morning. It was green!

She may very well be a BC Marans crossed with either an Ameraucana or Easter Egger, especially if she lays green eggs. So yes, she would be an olive egger. [IMG]

She definitely an Easter Egger then, and if her egg is an olive shade of green, then she's an Olive Egger.
