What breeds do you wish you had?

I'm limited to 5 hens here, so most of what I want is just a dream. I'd love to try polish, silkies, and I'm starting to think showgirls are actually so ugly they're cute. Seramas are on my list, too.More EEs would always be welcome, variety is good. I did just get 3 new pullets on Thursday, another EE, a buff orp and a mottled java. Added to my remaining EE and RIR, that maxes me out for now.

I live in town, so my flock has to be small. Over the years, I have tried many different breeds. I prefer the big girls with brown eggs- just a personal preference. My favorite hen was a Buff Orpington - Alberta- she would come sit on my lap every day to visit - but she was very broody- she spent 6 months one year being broody. She was very bossy too. My next favorite was a Splash marans - Flora- she was so sweet and was wonderful - see avatar. My next favorite is a Mottled Orpington- Missy. That girl is funny. When she fusses, she vibrates. She isn't so sweet, but I get a kick out of her. She isn't as broody as Alberta was. Guess my next flock choices will be a Buff Brahma, a Speckled Sussex, and maybe a Columbian. Although, a sweet little serama hen would be fun to have.

I have 26 CX & BBWs that are going bye-bye in a few weeks. Another maybe 7-8 Toms in headed to freezer camp in November sometime. So that leaves about 40 chickens (incl maybe 7 cockerels), 6-7 Jennies, 15 (mostly) Sweetgrass poults... 4 Welsh Harlequin drakes, a quartet of Buff geese... I think that’s all. But I totally want more. :wee

Speckled Sussex, Auraucana, Brahma (Buff), and oh, at least one each of everything in the Murray McMurray catalogue I just got in the mail. Plus some Welshie ducks to keep the drakes happy and actually lay some eggs, Muscovies in loads of colors... My husband is kind of worried, I think...

We currently have: 3 Crested Cream Legbars, 3 Buff Orps, 2 EEs, 1 Australorp, 1 Brahma, 1 English Black Orp, 1 Buckeye, 1 Blue Andalusian, 1 Golden Campine, and 1 Barred Rock. They're all great, but my favorites are the English Black Orp and the Brahma. Just lovely personalities.

For new breeds I really want a Jersey Giant and a Dorking. Also we've never had any banties, and I'm curious how that would be.

Come on ya'll! There are tons more people on this forum that have not posts!!

I want to here the breeds you wish for!! :)
I've had over 30 breeds and varieties. But like others, I'm limited on space and time so I'm comfortable with the one breed/variety I have.
If space and time were unlimited, I'd like to try to find some Quetro, Kiri Kiri, some genetic hackle roosters for fly fishing and perhaps Onagadori.
I also wouldn't mind raising some I had before like Jaerhon, Ancona, White and Blue Jersey Giant again.
If money were no object. I would probably import from several parts of the world like Greenfire farms does.
I'd definitely go to the islands of Lake Titicaca in the Peru highlands and procure some Quetro. I'd also spend time in Spain and bring back some of the more obscure varieties of Empordanesa and more Classic Black Penedesencas for some genetic diversity.
Here's some food for thought those wanting some new breeds may want to look at.

There's some good eye candy in the following 3 links. Probably only about half are available in the US.
