What breeds should I get next? What are your favorite breeds?!

What are you favorite breed of chicken? I have a flock of 7, which includes one of each: ISA Brown (my oldest girl!), Buff Orpington, Lavender Orpington, Dark Brahma, Blue Laced Golden Wyandotte, Olive Egger, and an Easter Egger (no roosters). Can you think of any other breeds that would fit into this flock nicely? Good egg layers is great, but I really want docile and friendly hens that I can bond with. Maybe having a little bantam would be fun....

I got Barred Rocks this year. They are laying 100% right now even with the shorter daylight. They are quiet, curious, and a no problem bird. I had 2 male (pullets ) processed and they were huge!! I changed from lots of color layers to heritage that thrive easily. My other breed I have a few of are Leghorns. They are friendly but flighty when they free range and other than a rooster protecting his girls I've never lost one to predators. Depends what your goals are.

Cochins. I only have bantam cochins (16 right now) but they are hands down my favorite. I've heard that LF Cochins match bantams in their personalities. I believe they are decent layers, 3 to 4 eggs a week. Only thing is that cochins seem to go broody often, and if you don't plan to let them hatch, you might not want to deal with always breaking a broody.
