What camera do you use?

I have used Canon camera's since 1975 when I first became obsessed with photography. I love my xTi too.

They are a little spendy, but well worth it. I got a better multi use lens, but I really what a good telephoto lens. Got to wait til after to coop is up and save some $$.

I'm on my second Kodak easyshare camera. I liked the older one a little better for indoor pics, this one is a V803, it's smaller and fits in my pocket...but again I like the larger older one that I could get a good grip on. I sell items on ebay and wore the old one out..I must have taken thousands and thousands of pics on it.

I recommend one that isn't a slim pocket size if you want to be able to hold on to it without it slipping out of your hands.

I think both of those are great deals, and I would choose the Fuji, just because Fuji has been about photography for a long time. Keep in mind that neither of those cameras have interchangable lens......

Debi's right, if you ever decide you want to expand to other lenses you can't with those two cameras.

Harlan what is the price tag on that Canon? Mine listed at $999 but I found it on sale and had a 15% off certificate and wound up paying $650.

I got mine for $899 with out a discount, but I have seen them for much less in todays market, $599 and up. She may even find one on e-bay or the classifieds for a decent price, people are selling to get $$.
