What can I feed baby chicks until I can get out to get some Chick Starter?

I fed mine scrambled eggs, ground raw oatmeal and runny oatmeal too as I recently ran out of chick feed. They don't seem to enjoy it as much as proper chick food but they scoffed it down pretty quickly. I've also heard of giving them a little bit of yoghurt.

Also, when I feed them scrambled eggs and ground raw oatmeal, it often gets stuck on their beak so I have to get them and rub their beaks softly, and gently, to get it off. It's not that bad, just a warning. Don't know if this happens to anyone else. Maybe mine are just messy.

cornmeal, oatmeal (crush it up in your hand smaller if they're real little), greens like lettuce, turnip or mustard greens or watercress, eggs are good for protien, whole wheat bread...

Hi, can you tell me how to prep food for them till I can get some feed?
