What can I feed my chicks?

I have 8 week old buff orpingtons, and I currently feed them a starter feed and occasionally throw in some dried mealworms. I was just wondering what other foods, like fruits or veggies, I can start feeding them. Thank you all!

I would stick to the starter feed, it has all the nutrition they need. I like to put a pie plate of fresh dirt in my brooder , they love it . Or a piece of sod.

Some people give chicks treats but I’d rather have them fill up on the good stuff so they will be strong and healthyIf you decide to give treats make sure they have grit

baby food for babies.... dirt had natural organisms to help their gut....and gives them a little grit... they have to be on grit before they can heat tougher stuff... Momma hen would handle all of that if they had one.
