What can my Chickens NOT EAT?

    are there any plantsjor flowers can my chickens have? i am going to plant a garden in the pen for them and found seeds for Cosmos. some kind of flower? can they eat them?
    I will plant grass and other stuff in the spring but thought I would just plant what I found in the drawer. I am sure I can find other stuff, and will be planting it in a wagon they have to play in. Thnaks for the help.

    The only thing I've been warned against is
    green potato peelings, and elephants![​IMG]

    Good deal cause my cat ate all the elephants I had yesterday and the store cant get any for at least a week [​IMG]

    Seriously, though, chickens are the goats of the
    fowl world. They will eat anything. But green potato
    peelings contain a poison that should be avoided.

    hey we are close, I was starting to think I wat the only one in my area. [​IMG] my chicks have cleaned out the pen of all grass in less than a week so I understand. I really want more chickens LOL I got the *not enough chickens blues* LOL

    maybe later if you sell chicks or eggs I could get some from you.

    I heard chickens don't like anything spicy, not sure how true it is.

    Acid reflux, they dont care for green pepper either.
