They rubbery looking thing is likely an egg membrane and double shelled eggs are caused by an egg staying in the egg shell sprayer too long and getting a second coat. Both can be signs of reproductive disorders. What's your birds breeds and diet?

She is a Cuckoo Maran. They are eating Nutrena nature wise all flock pellet feed.
Daily treat mix of scratch, black oil sunflower seeds, mealworms. Frozen fruit/veggie scraps.
Regular access to grit and oyster shell.
They are a little over a year old and this particular hen has gone broody twice.

Not sure another shell can be formed like that in the uterus.
First thought is that the lighter egg got stuck in another birds broken egg,
but it sure fits tight.
@Ridgerunner might know about a second shell forming like that.
