A farmer is wanting to sell some hens because he simply has too many. He said he has white ones that lay brown eggs and brown sex link hens...thanks!

White Marans, white rock, and rhode island white are my guesses.
I think white rock are the most likely.

White chantacler is another possibility but not highly likely.

Oh and white wyandotte.

Those are If the birds are 100% white.

There are a bunch more options if they are not 100% white.

Oh ok I had no idea so many white breeds can lay brown eggs, interesting! I’m picking them up in a few days, I’ve never seen them yet so I’ll take photos and post them on here. Are white chickens pretty clean looking or do they get dirty looking easily? Just wondering, I’ve never owned white chickens. Thanks guys!

They could be Delawares? They have some black lacing around their necks and wing tips/ tail feathers.

We have one and we just have a small backyard flock of 7 but she stays a pretty pristine white always!
