SO I NEED TO GET SOME NEW CHICKS A ONE OF MINES DIED WHEN EVER THAT HAPPENS I MUST GET NEW ONES SO WHAT KINDS SHOULD I GET!!!!!

Get at least 2 so they don't get pecked when they are added. I like the dual purpose breeds because they lay a little less, but lay for more years. Black australorp, speckled sussex, New Hampshire, barred rock, and Easter eggers all lay well (4 eggs a week in their prime.) If you just want a powerhouse layer that will only do that for 2 years get a red sexlink, golden comet, Isa brown, hatchery RIR, but then you have to do something with them when they stop laying.
