What color are these Silkie Chicks?

These two are all that hatched from 11 shipped eggs. They are from color separated pens. The choices are White, Buff, Splash, or Blue.

The eggs were marked as to color, and I found one top piece of shell that was marked "W". I could not find the other.

Is the one on the right the white one? If so what is the other? Is it Buff? It has a slight yellowish tinge, but it is very pale, much paler the buff cochin I hatched recently.

Yes, both those chicks are white. A buff is much more golden coloured.

Yes, both white. I hatched a white one that was a lot yellower but feathered in white. I know for fact it was white because I don't have any other varieties except whites.

Everyone was correct about the yellowish chick. It will be white. The chick that wasn't in question, that I thought was white is, I believe splash.

Not sure if it comes through in the pic, but I can see gray spots starting to come through in the chick standing behind.

I have a splash that didn't show it's black/white until four months. It was really out of nowhere. The yellowing could be coming from the recessive white gene, most white silkies of pet quality have the recessive white.
