What color egg would a Buff Orpington x Easter Egger lay?

My Easter Egger cockerel with pea comb at 14 weeks old.

Same boy at 18 weeks.

22 week old pullet with pea comb.

22 week old pullet, also with a pea comb.

Pea combs look like a small, bumpy ridge on chicks. The chicks that inherit the Buff Orpington single combs are not likely to lay green eggs. Green or brown eggs are the only possibilities when crossing a blue/green laying breed with a brown egg laying breed.

If i had an Orpington roo and ee hens would it be as simple as if they hatched out of a blue egg they will lay green and if they hatch out of a green egg they will lay brown or more complicated than that?

I had a Buff Orpington X Easter Egger pullet last year and she was the color of the BO, but had the green legs of the EE and she layed blue/green eggs. Sadly, she was taken by our neighbor's German Shepherd when he got out of his pen.
