What color egg would light brown x olive egger chicks produce?

I've been hatching out some chicks from my own flock and am curious to know what color they might lay.

Some variance of green - usually a darker olive. That's how many get deeper olive eggs. BrownxBlue=green. Breed green back to brown to go further into green, or back to blue to lighten. Simplistic answer, but that's basically the process...

That makes sense! I was concerned because I always heard about olive to dark brown but never the regular light brown.

Darker brown eggs will for certain make darker olive eggs, but you can only work with what you have available. I'd play around with it at least and find out if you like the results. Olive Eggers are "in" right now so they'd likely be an easy sell or rehome..
