What color eggs do white leghorns lay?

Her legs should be yellow if it is a leghorn. They look pink/white in the picture-what color are they?

her shape looks like a leghorn - white rocks are stockier (I have a brown leghorn and other than color they are identical) - and I also had a white rock. She should lay medium/large white eggs. If it's a small egg and it's dark cream to white - it's a silkie egg. I've seen silkie eggs that are white, and some that look light brown.

She does look like a leghorn. Her legs could be pale due to her age (she is 2 right?) and that would account for them not being as yellow, but they look more slate colored. It is possible she is a mix then. You are right her earlobe is white. Interesting!

Well I don't know how old she is! I bought her from an old lady down the street and she said that she was a leghorn!! But I think she is kinda old!! She was the first chicken I ever got!! Besides the roo that showed up at my house!!( he is the one that got me started) but she hasn't laid since I got her

Your post is very similar to my experience. I have never had chickens before a couple of months ago.
I bought three point of lay hens. I was told they were 20 weeks old but only the white leghorn had a comb and wattles. After 6 weeks the black australorp had a comb and wattles and the isa brown is only developing them in the last week.

After 7.5 weeks I finally got a small light brown egg. The white leghorn was hanging around the nest box that morning so I thought it was her. Someone told me that white leghorns can only lay white eggs so I wasn't sure anymore it was the white leghorn. Two days later I had a small white and a small light brown egg.

This morning the white leghorn was in the nest box and when she got out there was a light brown egg still warm.

So I am wondering is she a pure white leghorn or is she sitting on another chickens eggs? Or can white leghorns lay brown eggs?

I had put in two fake eggs to give them the right idea and the real eggs are always next to them.

All of the White Leghorns I have ever had laid very large, white eggs. All of the Silkies I have ever owned (whatever their color) laid light brown/cream colored, smallish eggs.
