hi guys! i just got 3 little hens. 2 are grey and one is barred with yellow feet but has the Easter Egger tufts of feathers. cute! sorry no pictures. 
but the lady i got them from said they are americaunas X silkie mix. i was curious as to what color egg they may lay? she says they're 8 months old but she didn't think they were laying yet. i've only had them for a couple days now and so far no eggs. but they could be stressed too. she had tons of chickens....so maybe she couldn't tell if they had already layed? i figure by 8 months they would be laying. i can tell the roosters had been on the 2 grey ones by the way their back feathers look. so if they're already breeding, would that mean they are already laying?
