She is pretty light in color but I see a bit of tanning on her chest

I bought her as grey but wasn't sure about it since blue and lavender are colors similar.

looks like a lavender if she is a solid even gray all over, blue is 2 toned with the feathers on the hackles being a lot darker than the body and the body feathers are a light gray with darker gray lacing. might have another color mixed in if there is bleeding then i would say you have a blue

I happened to google cochins and saw a lemon blue, she really looks like one I saw pictured online. I'll get better pictures in the sun tomorrow!

Okay, here's more pics of China

I just love her! any idea how old? We got her as a grey pullet, no age. She has been "mothering" our silkie babies so I'm wondering if that's why she hasn't layed yet.

She doesnt look to be pure Cochin. Her tail is not round as a Cochins should be. She is very nice, but dont think she is pure. She does appear to be Self Blue.

She is pretty dark for a lavender. I think I see some lacing and lavender color usually has no lacing. I tend to think she may be more of a light blue. I could be wrong though.

she looks like my hatchery partridge cochin

what does self blue mean? Thank you guys for the info! I think she's gorgeous!
self blue is what lavender is called

lavender is a solid even light gray over the whole body
blue is a light gray with darker gray lacing on the feathers and the hackles are usually that same dark gray as the lacing
