i think meyers has the white meat strain muscovy

i got my parents from a guy in jersey who accidently ended up with 40 birds

and today, one of my babies laid her very first egg
it's the size of a chicken egg

and the shell is pretty thin for a duck egg
but it is her first

Both of mine were taken by predators and I miss them. They are my favorite duck, too. (Except maybe when they pooped by the front door.) The last one disappeared in the daytime without a trace. I'll get more in the future when I can protect them better. I really like the "colorful" ones.
