What Color Is This Genetic Hackle?

I am thinking lavender cuckoo but does not match the cuckoo pattern on other breeds sporting lavender I have seen. Do you think the seller would ever sell a live bird like this or would the genes be as closely guarded as the KFC recipe? Beautifully done taxidermy by the way. Do not click on this link if seeing a dead/stuffed rooster disturbs you. I think it is rather a shame to have killed him but that is what those birds are here for. Not much different than one that was hatched to be your dinner, except much better looking.

I should have actually READ the auction. It says that he is/was lavender barred. I would not mind owning a live rooster like this one. I think if I owned a stuffed one I would be thinking he ought be out there scratching around in the dirt the way chickens should be, not mounted on a wooden post. He was done so well though he looks as if he might crow at any moment.

Pardon the pun, but he's drop dead GORGEOUS!!! I would rather have him scratching around in the yard, too, but this taxidermist's work is amazing.
