What color of silkie roo is this guy?

He's a mystery to meee lol
I got him as a silkie rooster from a rescue.

I'm not good with colors, but he looks like a blue with some kind of leakage maybe? I'm not sure why he would have those brownish shades in the feathers though.
Let's wait for someone more experienced to share their thoughts.

He is absolutely beautiful thank you! I have a black and silver silkie hen with super slight barring on her wings in certain places. I'm thinking of trying to get some chicks from them next spring. They obviously won't be breed standard lol but I think they may produce some pretty colored chicks

Sometimes nature has the best results! Please post pics if you breed them, sounds like they'd be amazing!

See I was wondering if maybe he was the outcome of a splash with some buff leakage and a black or maybe a black and buff mix. I guess I shall never know i don't think it's a known color lol. But that is also possible!

Looks either a leaky dark blue, or a very dark blue partridge.
