I'm talking over all the ideas with my husband. The green treated wood has sat in the woodshop for a few years, so should be okay. It was a left over from a deck my in-laws put on the back of their house. I do have a two year old, but who knows what color she would choose...That would be interesting.
eta: I'll have to take before and after pictures of it. You would not believe the shape it's in right now.
