Both are pullets for sure!!!! Great layers. I have two hens and both have greenish feathers at end of tail and one around the neck. It’s not only a male trait.
My guess is based on their little comb and wattle lo development at 12 weeks of age.

Thank you! I don't want to butcher them but it doesn't seem like anyone around here is looking for cockrels right now. Do you think he's a late bloomer because my other cockrels are more mature/dominant?

Yes she is! That is Lily She has a brother (wether) named Shen They are 7 months old xo

I'm always afraid of buying from TSC because I know if I go in there looking for ameraucana pullets I'll come out with easter egger cockerels...or even worse, CX. lol
Someday I'll give in, though. It's so tempting, the bantam bin is calling meeee....

What did you purchase them as anyway? TSC is famous for their mislabeled breed or genders.

I believe they said the bin had Orpingtons and Cuckoo Marans. I knew they weren't CM (got two of them too and got a beautiful cockrel and a pullet). The cockrel is a real brat to the others though, and also skittish lol

Absolutely I can! I just went up and got their water de-icers set up and running (hopefully) but I will be back up in the morning and can get pics then. They are smaller bodied than my Barred Rocks and Cuckoo Marans pullets of the same age. They are also pretty skittish about going outside (I free range when I'm not at work) but so are some of the others.

I would wait a while then post pics of their saddles again. It's very unlikely for a cockerel not to have a bigger, red comb and wattles.
