I came home and our rabbit was eating something in the yard, I went to see what it was and it was my hen's fertile egg, at day 15!!!I locked him in his hutch and checked on my hen, she was normal.the egg was not there this morning.do rabbits steal and eat eggs?

I don't believe a rabbit's mouth is large enough to be able to carry an egg.

Wow, I have no idea! That is just awful!! I think you need to post this question in our Rabbit section here on BYC. Kelsie has left you with the link.

I hope you can keep the critters from eating your hens eggs. And leaving eggs around the yard is going to attract night time predators.
