What did you do in the garden today?

Pics
I watered, weeded, picked a bunch of tomatoes and now I'm trying to figure out the plan for dinner that must include tomatoes, not that I'm complaining AT ALL!

The BEST thing I ever ever did for my garden was run drip irrigation on a timer. I use way less water, I water at the source of the plant and everything has just gone completely bonkers in this awesome heat with enough water.

I got a full 5 gallon bucket of Brandywine tomato's yesterday so I will be making up some more divine salsa

Next year I am going to plant a little patch of celantro ( I hate it but its a must have for salsa so ..) and a pepper plant. LOL

I think a small patch of dill as well and perhaps some mustard.

My poor beds are currently getting over run with grass/weeds from hell because it's too hot for me to go weed. I think it's bermuda grass and I can't kill it for anything!.

At what size does a zuchinni become a 'marrow'? LOL ..I should take photos of these suckers ...huge is an understatement.

You can use flat leaf parsley instead of of cilantro for the salsa. I don't like cilantro either and the parsley works great!

I picked this melon a little smaller than a tangerine with white flesh. Interesting to say the least.

Frech charantaiis? yummy!

Today I picked some tomatoes and an early butternut. I've got some melons almost ready, but not big ones yet. Picked 4 ears of corn for dinner, but the ruby reds almost done, and the peaches and cream are coming on.
