What did you do in the garden today?

It looks like you need to harvest the peas. After the plant matures to the point it is not producing new peas, it will start to die off. Just normal. Peas are more of an early spring plant. In your area pea season is about over. You didn't do anything wrong, that's just the nature of the plant. You have a few left on the plant, just pick them and toss them in a stir fry. Enjoy! :frow Oh, and do compost the vines. They are full of nitrogen.

I was wondering if that was the case. They lasted longer last year, and had more peas. I have a whole handful in the fridge, so I will pick the rest and yes, I do compost, so the plant will go in there! The kids like snacking on the peas raw

They did, but I am still finding nails and garbage. We had two 2500 sq ft rooves to do. It took two full days and looks great. The gutters are getting done either this week or next.

Hail and foxes are on my grrrr list this year. LOL.

Switched roof color from faded red tan to deep charcoal grey. What a wonderful difference. The dark roof makes the stone and brick and trim pop with color! It's also a high impact roof. 50 year coverage and can handle 2 inch hail and 140 mph wind. I just got sick of worry about the dang roof. My insurance premium dropped dramatically with the new type roof.
