Well I didn't do anything in the garden today but I DID open a jar of dilly beans I made this summer and put it in a bloody Mary! Does that count? They turned out great!

Good morning gardeners.

It's dark outside but I have the hose running for some shrubs. Not much as we're "supposed" to have rain later in the week.

I did some reading about potatoes, it takes 3 or 4 weeks to get potato sprouts and I don't think it has been quite that long yet.

Today I'm cutting back the bougainvillea among the other chores. It's great when there's no rain because it's a bush that shades a block wall. When the rains come, it flowers and they fly EVERYWHERE in the wind. It's a love/hate relationship for sure!

Ahhh....sunshine! We are putting it to good use by building more raised beds! What's a little snow on the ground, its 39F and warm enough to work in short sleeves!

Living in Juneau those years not unusual if it was 45 but not raining short sleeves and shorts no industry there to cloud the sun

It quit raining long enough for the chickens to come out and forage in the garden a bit. I felt sorry for them yesterday when it was so wet and so dark.
