What did you do in the garden today?

The new garden fence is almost done. I decided to build a 3 rail fence and I'll add wire to keep the rabbits, dog, and poultry out. The white picket fence is the old garden fence. I worked right through it for now, but it's going to get taken down completely.

Well managed a ton today. Rain has held off and we were in sun which meant we hit 60. 5 miles south of us was socked in clouds all day and only made it to 49.

I added two more full rows to the orchard and marked where new trees will go. I'm going to add them in one fell swoop, so that's my major Ranch project budget for this year. I'll go ahead and dig the holes and put out the irrigation before I get the trees, obviously. As not even my big go to nursery has the fruits in yet.

I made heavier spacer for the trees. I need more. I'll grab another pack along with the irrigation stuff my next trip in town.

Flour is ground for the week.

Barn and coop are clean.

Workshop has been cleaned.

Trip to town for forgotten groceries, the recycling, and to drop of empty milk jugs to friends house.

Tomorrow I'll knit some and get some work in the sprouting shed done.
Sweet Potatoes are sprouting roots and eyes QUICKLY.

Snow tonight.

That I really do understand we had like almost 4 days dry Sun out all of them... Today rain

Do you have pictures? I have two old tires I am considering converting into planters, probably for flowers.

Not to jump the gun on Penny, but wanted to say. Long ago I made a few of these for an Individual.

They painted them with house paint on exterior , and looked good.
