I’ve planted sunflowers, zucchini, lettuce and some other flowers in the small section that is ready. Hoping to get dirt tomorrow!
Bait the traps with any plant you care about?Morning everyone. Back to work! Spotted a rabbit in the garden as we pulled down the back drive last nigh.I tried to get DH to shoot it, but he's such a softie he said the pistol on his hip was too loud.
(I knew he wouldn't do it, that's why I asked, lol) I was surprised a rabbit would chew holes through the fence when he had a yard full of grass & clover. Well now I know how to bait the trap...
Off to make a post about my pullet that seems to have an issue laying, not sure if I need to put her out of her misery or if she will get it straightened out. Hope everyone has a great day!
& I didn't realize we have a couple veterans here! Thank you all for your service, I have mad respect for you.
Exactly! That little &^%$#@!. I haven't been in the garden yet to see what he's eaten this time, but he seems to like the cucumber sprouts. I can't seem to keep any, gonna be pickle-less year if I can't keep him out!Bait the traps with any plant you care about?
It has been like that for me and my pineapples. I'm willing to wait for the fruit to fully ripen but our bunnys don't roll like that. They are happy with green pineapples. I'd understand it better if I were late to harvest. Oh well my gloves should ship out today and I can offer nature a better alternative I hope twoards eating my things with the Prickly Pear Cactus project.Exactly! That little &^%$#@!. I'm not so sure that this goes here, but I have been reading this book lately I'd love to recommend to like-minded individuals!
Mini Farming: Self Sufficiency on 1/4 Acre by Brett L. Markham
I just don't think I have the energy to beat the reproductive capacity of a bunny. How funny is that that you're going though all this to offer them an alternative & I just want DH to shoot my bunny.(not really, I'm just joking about that, sort of)
I had no idea bunnies like green pineapple! Sounds bitter to me & hopefully they like the cactus better.
