Good morning gardeners. We have a light breeze and it's cool on my skin. I'm sitting on the patio while the dogs play. I walked through the garden last night to check on things and took a few pics
Hibiscus
Heather. I'm going to trim it a bit
English thyme
Basil. It has finally bolted so I'm going to pull it and dry it.
Chinese forget me nots
I'm going to plant a few glads along this lattice to test chicken hardiness. I'd like to hide it from view when we're on the patio.
Going to pull the groundcover too and plant some flowers here, not sure what yet.
Bougainvillea, rosemary in the bottom left corner of the pic.
This is where the artichokes were. The plants along the wall bloom red and yellow so I'm looking for more bulbs to plant and might try some forget me nots in there too next year. The window boxes are to grow grass for Walt this Fall.
New growth on the Mexican bird of paradise.
Headed out to water, have a great day everyone!
PS, the aloes are greening up! It has taken watering every other day and the hay mulch to get them to plump up enough to turn green.
