Hi everybody! Computer is still in the shop, so I finally stole Hubby's.

Desperate times...! Typing things out on my phone and my Kindle takes forever and a day.
Everyone's gardens look terrific! We had buckets of rain as well as serious heat (heat index in the high 90s to 100/101) last week, then I had a horrible migraine Friday into early Saturday. Last time I looked, the HI is still at 98 today, with the lovely bonus of Ohio humidity. Happily, the veggies (tomatoes especially) are percolating along quite happily! A few pictures are on my phone; will have to share those later. The hibiscus began to bloom, and I swear the flowers look different than last year when it comes to color. Will have to refer to my files.

(Took a picture of Ben beside them last year. Files aren't really files if they do not contain collie hair in one form or another.) Something is attacking our bush beans, so I spritzed those last night. Mostly...I admire our chicks.
Oh! So remember I said we had eleven? Everything I read swore up and down that chicks sleep a lot for the first few days, but I honestly think ours are having coffee delivered every morning before I'm fully awake. Saturday we were cleaning out the brooder and Hubby said he thought they were cloning themselves. So we counted by hand, the chicks conveniently in a box.
There are twelve.
It only took us four days to figure that one out.
Have missed a lot, but sorry about the pup situation,
@karenerwin. I am also very sorry to read your mom is struggling. I'll continue to pray for both of you.
Migraines are terrible,
@igorsMistress, and I'm sorry to hear you deal with them too.
Coop looks good,
@Sooner Magnolia! Chandelier sounds fun, electricity or no!
@penny1960 same here, sorry to hear you are struggling as well! What zone are you in? If you have at least 60 days, you still have time to try both again. Go for it! Sorry about your Silkie.
Love those lemon cukes
@Acre4Me! One of these years I'll grow them myself. They're pretty--just different looking.
Salsa Verde is the best,
@AllenK RGV...with cilantro, though. Everybody here loves the stuff! But even without, salsa verde is delish.
Thank you for sharing the exploits of your Hell's Ange--er, barn swallows,
@WthrLady.
Those boats do look fabulous,
@Sueby.
@NewBoots somewhere just the other day I found a recipe for borage vinegar for salad dressing! It uses just the blossoms, which apparently turn said vinegar pink. I'm happy to dig it up if you like...with our borage in full force now, I kept it nearby (just not on me this moment).
Had that happen to a few of my tomatoes, too,
@MrLeeHo, summer before last. It's disappointing, to be sure.
Well, almost time to relinquish my husband's computer.

Happy gardening, all!
