What did you do in the garden today?

Good afternoon gardeners. I hope you’re all well. @Decoyman everything is looking good!
I watered today and planted the broccoli and cilantro. There is a bunch of lettuce up and the garlic is sprouting also. Still no carrots :barnieI’m going to make a trench and plant some other seed this week. The ducklings came out of the coop for the first time this afternoon for a little while to swim. I picked up a bit but didn’t weed yet because it’s a bit soggy; the dirt should be about right for it tomorrow after work though. We took the pups to Home Depot this morning for a rubber backed rug to put in the bunny pen. It was only 36* this morning and Abby has zero fat on her little body so she wore her coat. I was a little surprised but she loved it. Here’s the ducklings today, they are three weeks old already!

I keep these in the freezer for a long time. I also cut them into much smaller pieces. My dogs ❤ them!

Oh, and I leave out the garlic because I read somewhere ( I think on here or in another dog snack cookbook) that garlic is bad for dogs.
I also usually cook them longer than it says and I don’t use grease proof grease paper. 🤣 I just spray the baking pan with a cooking spray.

On a different note, one of the puppies has a knot/ lump on her head. 😞 At first we figured she must have gotten it wrestling with her sister. But it’s been a week and it isn’t going away. 😞
She has a vet appointment on Tuesday to see what is going on. It doesn’t seem to bother her any. It feels kind of soft and a little squishy.

I’m hoping it isn’t anything serious. She is only 9 months old.

Looks like there will be Christmas produce directly from the garden for the upcoming holidays. For central Virginia - that will be a great thing. Normally do not do fall veggies, but this year was a bountiful success. Still spinach, Swiss Chard, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower to harvest - also collards, but I forgot to get a photo of those. Lettuce was available too for today's lunch sandwiches.

I’m officially jealous. I can’t seem to grow any of those here. I’ve planted spinach at least half of dozen times and have never gotten a harvest. Great job with whatever your doing!
