What did you do in the garden today?

I got the kale and brussels sprouts in the garden earlier.

I also finished the garden gate and tacked up wire along the remaining half of the garden fence. I still need to put more wire along the privacy fence though. There's about 40' of it total that needs to be covered still to at least make a hurdle for the rabbits as they attempt to enter the garden.

I also grabbed a pic of the garlic we planted yesterday.

And then I built a "garage" under the new swing set. DS like it, but he is demanding an "up down" door. I thought the walls would suffice...😒

That was just about the whole day...

Here are the seeds I have sprouting so far. I still have others that I need to get started.
we had to take the blue eyed puppy to the emergency vet on Friday. The regular vet couldn’t see her until April 17th. She has been throwing up about an hour or so after eating ( for about 2 weeks). She has lost at least 10 pounds. At the emergency clinic they took X-rays and decided that she had some kind of blockage in her stomach. They kept her overnight ( on IV fluids), did 2 more sets of X-rays at 2 different times the next day. 3 different vets looked at the X-rays and all said she had a lot of something in her stomach that wasn’t moving. They did surgery yesterday around 3:00PM. Guess what?
There wasn’t anything in her stomach! 😳
She does have enlarged lymph nodes. He took one and took biopsies from her stomach and her intestines. We did not agree to having them checked because the surgery and everything already cost us $3,000 😳 and the results wouldn’t change what we would do. Bring her home and let her live out her life ( however long that turns out to be).
They want to keep her tonight too. So far she isn’t eating for them ( she is too scared being in unknown surroundings and not having been properly socialized due to Covid).
I hate that we put her through all that for nothing. 😞
I’m sorry. I know my experience was similar, but he ... well, it was a very traumatic end. From surgery to the end was a week. $4,500.

Your mistake was calling it a garage. You should have said “car port”. Cute kids!

Phew, long weekend.
I have the post holes dug for the greenhouse floor/platform. I ran out of energy to actually set the posts.
While I was working outside earlier in the day I saw a large pice of siding 16 feet up that must have been the flapping banging sound that has kept me up since the last 50mph windstorm last weekend. So up the ladder I went. The siding job on this house is utter crap. The end was almost 1 inch short of being under the securing trim. NO WONDER the wind got under and popped it. I reattached it and snapped it down the best I could and filled the trim gap with just a small blob of clear caulk that will keep it from popping off again. I think I'll get an estimate to have just that end of the house replaced. It really takes a beating.
The marketing was done. OMG the $$$$ today. Just the hardware and the feed store, but it was not pretty.
Rain for the next two days, 3-4 inches.
So inside work sewing and weaving and work work.
Have a great day all.
