What did you do in the garden today?

I couldn't tell too good from the picture what those were.
If they are aphids, dawn dish soap and water will be rid of them.
If they are moths, ie caterpiller makers :( Dawn might work, however the pyrehin and probably permethins, which are natural, should work too.

HOLY CRAP, we had a big rain just pass over. got 2.32 inches of rain over about an hour or so. I was not home or id's be doing some valve swapping but I was able to catch about 1500 gallons of that before my collection contraption overflowed. I use rain water in my garden, trees instead of city water. Each year I save probably 500 dollars or more when you add up what they charge for the water / built in sewage charges. Anyways, won't be needing to USE the water today but having it helps a ton. I get IBC totes for free, and lined the fence with them and use them for water collection / storage. Cut them in half and they make oober awesome above ground gardens too. Self contained super dooper tater bucket.

They look like aphids which can be green or brown. Try some insecticidal soap?

Aphids can be ridden of with Dawn dish soap 10 to 1 with water kills them
Thank you both, also! I grabbed some citrus castille soap and went to town. Sounds like I need to thin my solution though. Its about 4:1 right now.

I'm only wondering how your beneficial pollinators would get in.

Well, I've thought about that and basically, I'd have to open up a door on each end.... Or hand pollinate. I'm doing that now with my yellow squash and tomatoes. Kind of a pain, especially when it's hot outside in the morning.

But I will still have my tire garden and other things outside the greenhouse to keep pollinators in the area. I go out most mornings between 6 am and 7:30 AM. I could open up the greenhouse to pollinators during this time until late morning or early afternoon.

I just really want to avoid squash bugs, vine borers, and cabbage moths.... No worms in my broccoli next year.

I had to water the garden this morning. Our forecast shows rain all this week but it is such pitifully small amounts that you can barely call it rain....

It was cloudy this morning though and the temperature was in the low 70s... So nice! I put a Bordeaux mix on the peach trees, grapes, tomatoes, and potatoes. After I finished all my morning chores in the garden and fed the animals, it was ungodly hot and muggy.

and they allowed a factory to dump shoe sole materials onto it.
Greater Grand Rapids area, Michigan is dealing with PFAS chemicals from this very thing. It has contaminated many people's wells.

We are up to about 7" of rain since it started raining on Thursday. There is more to come.

Heck... I've wanted to BUY some at a reasonable price and can't find any
In the bigger cities, industrial companies frequently clean them up and give them away once they're lightly damaged. Just got to cover your bases on what the heck was in there so you don't, ya know, poison yourself or your ground. Might have to drive a bit too, but worth it.

We use them at work, get stuff in them, but YES always check what was in them.

One thing to keep in mind, depending on where you live, they may have recycle value, and in Florida may fall under the category of 'restricted materials', so if you DO get one, keep a receipt of who gave / sold it to you. You should never have any issues but if the cop wants to be a real egg plant, they can cause issues. The junk yards don't generally take them because of the ... where did you get it, WHO gave it to you, is it stolen ...crap, but if you can find a company that gets manufacturing products in them, might be a great source.

Food plants, brewery's, coke /pepsi plants, soap plants...the list goes on and on.
