I got one that specifically claims to be self pollinating. It's a bit of an experiment for me and we'll see what happens. If I don't get any berries next year or the year after (it's like six inches tall, no joke) then I'll plant another one! LolDo you only have 1 blueberry bush? When I was planting mine I was told you needed 2 for pollination. I think it was supposed to be 2 different varieties but I’m not positive about that.
Anyway, check into it to make sure you have what you need. Maybe they have a variety that doesn’t need a 2nd for pollination.![]()
So I spent the whole morning cutting up the branch, re-grafting it to that tree and another tree, and stuck the remaining branches in pots to root. At least the bathroom is 80 degrees thanks to the brooders so I don't need to put a heat mat under the pots.
& that's what I do with the green brandywines, I pull them right before we're supposed to get a frost & let them sit inside wrapped in newspaper & I always have fresh tomatoes till Thanksgiving.
