Squirrels can be ridiculously LOUD and this is the time of year they're socking in for winter, and they're even more noisy.I swear that thing is up there moving furniture. It's driving me insane!
If it's gone out for the day - squirrel. Yup.I should send the dog up there, he's good at catching squirrels! But they are mean & he usually ends up bloody. (I would never actually do it, although he'd love it)
Sounds like it moved out for the day. I have a trap coming from Amazon tomorrow. The ones we have are too big.![]()
Rat sized traps and a have-a-heart (or not!) trap are the way to go. The rat sized traps can get a chipmunk or squirrel as well as a rat. Careful setting them though because they have more power than a mouse trap and can break a finger. the have-a-heart traps work well, but bate it with peanut butter or put the bait past the lever. I set some bait on the lever once and it just disappeared. Animal came in grabbed the bait and never triggered the lever - lesson learned. peanut mixed with seeds (chicken scratch) works really well.I swear that thing is up there moving furniture. It's driving me insane!
