What did you do in the garden today?

@BReeder! Checking in on all of you.
Doing alright. DW and I have some fatigue still. We are able to be up most of the day though. The kids are running all over and playing though. Everybody has some congestion still. DD particularly had chest congestion which we are watching. Pulse oximeter read normal for her though, so just a matter of letting her cough it all up.

It helps to pat them on the back up and down where the lungs are. I make a fist and tap gently but firmly with the flat side of my hand. It's usually very soothing and helps break up chest congestion.
My son and I have been sick yesterday and today. Coughing, sore throat and sinus congestion with headache. It's the time of year for the crud, my husband just got over it.

Maybe it's a good thing I'm sick in the house. It's snowed all morning and now it's there's some nasty sleet falling out looks like. Supposed to have snowfall possible so for the next 7.5 hours.

No gardening outdoors any time soon. Hoping the garlic and shallots weren't growing above the soil and mulch before this hit. We'll be in winter weather here from now until March I bet.

How are you doing from the surgery?
Doing pretty good . Mostly off pain meds . I can get around with a cane but still prefer the walker . 3 weeks yesterday . Surprised that some non surgery areas are still sore . A couple spots near my ankle and my shinbone . I am improving on weight bearing . It is a long process . No one told me I would have trouble holding urine but over that now . Meet someone in therapy that is 3 months past surgery . So very slow .

Ya, it's the time for the crud @BirdsBeesTrees but think omicron is swinging through Nebraska and Ohio. We all had the headache, fatigue, sore throat, sneezing, tickle cough this past week and there's not a box of cold medicine or bag of cough drops to be found. Could also just be what's blowing in the wind lately too.
Nice today, but the high will only be 14 on Saturday. Outdoor chores will get done on Friday. Going to spread some more manure in the garden while it's not frozen.
Waiting impatiently for seed catalogs.
