What did you do in the garden today?

Same at 27

You aren't going to have a vet come check her out??

Hadn't rained for a few days. It was supposed to rain some overnight and this morning. I watered the garden yesterday afternoon to make sure we would get rain ;)

While watering I saw several zucchini on the plant, they were about the size of my little finger. I should probably go out and pick them today or they'll be footballs tomorrow ;)
I've been messaging back and forth with the vet and her owner. She actually belongs to our horse trainer. The trainer swapped my thoroughbred for her horse because she had a suspensory injury nearly a year and a half ago and couldn't be ridden. My horse was getting fat and lazy in the field so we swapped. We both still own our horses but hers is retired and a companion for my elderly thoroughbred mare. Anyway, they want to pursue the standard treatment for a bowed tendon before calling the vet out to my place. The vet has seen pictures though and doesn't think it's broken

Mom planted more corn and lettuce. All I did was take photos today. 😆
It just started pouring rain! We really needed it! :wee

I used one of my overripe-but-still-salvageable cantaloupes to make ice cream last night. The texture is a bit off because I became impatient and didn't let the mixture (custard-based with stevia instead of sugar) sit in the refrigerator for long enough before dumping it into the ice cream maker, but the flavor was outstanding.

Hopefully that works with watermelon as well as I have what I estimate to be around 350 lbs or so of them in the garden. I just brought this one in (either "Leelanau Sweetglo" or "Yamato Silver", I'm not sure which yet) and at 13.5 lbs it's average sized at best.

Good afternoon all. I really need to get my stuff together  I probably over watered the fruit trees a little bit, I should have put something under the soaker hose to gauge the amount of water they got. In my defense, who thinks about that at 4 AM? I doubt it’ll do much harm, we’re at 110+ for the next week at least with overnight lows around 90. Tomorrow is feeding day for the east side of the yard. My little olive tree is still hanging in there and both banana plants look good. My EWO don’t have little onions on them, I think it got hot too soon after planting so maybe next year, I’m leaving them in the pots for now.
