Biggest bedroom. Not sure what to do about the different colors in the wood. Thought it would sand out but it didn’t.

you could possibly stain it a bit to get it more even if the colors bother you, then seal it

We are going to put it on the market. My son and his family were supposed to move in and rent it but they decided the area wasn’t a good fit for them.
I keep telling myself to stop overthinking it. Whoever buys it might put down carpet. 🤣

I'm sorry, SBurnt got me really good, lol! 'Course I never buy coffee from there anyway. Tea drinker.

Lots of news... not much garden though. Okra are done. I'm going to yank them in the next couple of days.

We're closing on 10.28! acres Tuesday (survey good, boundary marked). Shouldn't need a well permit with those numbers. :woot

My dad is in the hospital with pneumonia. Dang it. Caused by swallow problems. Surgery looming for him.:hmm

Guess life has to balance the good news out?

sad about your dad. happy for your acres!

@NewBoots I made a low sugar jalapeno strawberry jam this year & we are loving it. If you're interested here's the recipe, I subbed all the red peppers for hot & it's perfect. :lau https://pomonapectin.com/strawberry-jalapeno-jam/
Thank you! I've saved the recipe and now it'll be even harder to decide on which to use! :drool

Congrats on the property, as it gets closer it must be getting so exciting! And I'm sorry your dad is ill, I send my best thoughts.

 That’s an awesome harvest! Love the doggie, what’s her name?
Yeah, I was so sure my peppers wouldn't do well but I've really been lucky and had a darned good harvest this year. That is our sweet girl, Penny. She had so many issues when we first got her as a rescue, but she has come so far. We love her to bits.
Last year I split the turkey along the back bone and breast bone . Solved the too big problem . I plan to do it again . Used a bone saw out of my deer processing kit
Same here, I've had our turkey's split in two for years, they cook crazy fast then too.
Found an alive praying mantis!! On the sunny brick Wal. Looking pretty ragged, but what a bug! Still alive in November!!
Your garden looks amazing for November too! Our mantises got such a late start this year, I'm really hoping they lived long enough to lay their eggs.
I was done in Poplar Bluff the last 2 days sanding floors.
Great job, that looks like so much work!

I was so lazy today, got nothing done at all. Just cooked a tiny pork roast, made rice, and stir-fried carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms. Yum.

@Acre4Me wow! I’m impressed I can’t process more than 2 chickens in 1 day. It kills my back.
I found a recipe for a pumpkin jam. Now if I can just find some pumpkins I’m going to try it!

After. I still have to go around all the edges and the spots in the middle were too low/ uneven for the industrial orbital sander to get.
Amazing, you’ve been working hard! Can’t wait to see it when it’s done!

She’s beautiful! She looks happy to have you.
