What did you do in the garden today?

I just looked at the weather app on my phone and it’s saying 15 inches of snow on Saturday. Lol! I’m sure that’s wrong. Please tell me that’s wrong. Lol! I just managed a trail in the chicken yard and coerced them out with green beans. Yikes!
Yes, you are looking at more than an inch an hour for a prolonged period.... I have that portion at 10 inches for the current model run. So....you may need something better than greenbeans.

I eat them when I pick them, they don't make it back to the kitchen, but I only have 2 plants.
My favorite way to eat them is to drizzle a little olive oil on them, apply a little kosher salt and pepper and then grill them for a few minutes. Then pull them off the grill and microplane some Parmigiano-Reggiano on them. It's the king of vegetables.

We add fresh squeeze lemon juice to asparagus along with salt, pepper and olive oil.

Okay, I went around in a circle on my search, I should have started with Hawaii tomato disease problems. I found out that the Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus has become a problem in Hawaii and they provided a list of seed companies that sell TYLCV resistant seeds and they are available at our US seed companies like Jonny Seeds etc.

This PDF file mentioned that although the plant may have resistance for TYLCV the plant can still get sick with stress or poor growing conditions.

At least I found out what kind of stunting disease is in my yard.

Got another tray of seedlings started. Queen of Night Tomatoes, Milkweed, assorted Celosia, and Purple Sparkle Peppers. The others are all doing well except for one tray I altered the soil block recipe on and didn't use coco-coir on. Seems it compacts too much and the seedlings are withering at the base. Probably will have to redo most of them, but fortunately they were just extra of what I was already growing. I may not need 36 tomato plants 🤣
